Somerton Monday's Holy Spirit Chapel
Silent Prayer Group
3.45 to 4,00pm contemplative music then a short reading and prayer to help focus the mind, and then stillness and silence for about 30 mins. We end again with contemplative music, followed by the grace and then a cup of tea before going out into the world again.

Crispian, is one of the world’s best-known trumpet soloists, renowned for the quality of his performances and his wide-ranging musical experience. He will guide us through the evolution of the trumpet using various instruments and props; and will play his unique mix of classical and modern music, superbly accompanied by Leslie Pearson on the Piano.

It is hoped to organise a monthly time for churchyard maintenance/tidying up, on the 4th Friday of each month between 10am and mid-day, beginning on Friday 26th April.

ST MICHAEL’S QUIZ NIGHT:
The next ‘St Michael’s Quiz Night’ is due to be held on
starting at 7.00pm.
Teams of up to 6 people can be either formed in advance, or organised on the night.
Tickets costing £6.00 per person are available from Jacky/Rodger Calderwood or Jan/James Turner, and will include a cheese and wine supper.
Prizes for both the highest and lowest scoring teams.
All welcome to what should be a ‘not too serious time’ – fun for all ages!
