BENEFICE INTERCESSIONS

THANKSGIVINGS: (Please add personal thanks . . .)  

THE CHURCH OF GOD: 

We pray for the continued Ministry of all the Churches in Somerton, The Charltons, Kingsdon, Long Sutton and Long Load and Pitney.  During this time of preparation for a new benefice, we ask you Father to bless all the efforts being made to support and care for our parishes, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

OUR WORLD:

We pray that your will may be done throughout the world and for the needs of the developing nations to be met. We pray for all nations and for all those who today are killed or suffer as a result of conflict, disaster, illness or disease throughout the world. We also pray for those throughout the world persecuted as a result of their Christian faith.

PRAYER FOR GOD’S KINGDOM:

Almighty God we pray for your Kingdom.  For its growth in us, deepening our faith and commitment to you and for its growth through us, as we seek to tell others about your Kingdom.  Send your Holy Spirit to awaken faith and draw those you are calling into your Church family.  So, Father we pray may your Kingdom come, your will be done in Jesus name.  Amen.

The journey through Holy Week and all the services marking this time in the Benefice, our brothers and sisters in Churches Together in Somerton, those having a break or holiday in this time, particularly families and school staff
